St. Charles Missouri

Abstract: St. Charles Missouri is the ninth-largest city in Missouri. It’s situated on the Missouri River, and it is a northwestern suburb of St. Louis. It was founded in 1769 as the little hills by Louis Blanchette, who was a fur trader.

It was originally ruled by Spain during the Seven Years’ War, and St. Charles is the third-oldest city in Missouri. It played a major role in the westward expansion as a port on the river, and it is the starting place of Boone’s Lick Road to the Boonslick. It was primarily settled by French colonists in Canada within the early days, and it was known as the last stop on the Lewis and Clark expedition that happened in 1804, which consisted of exploring the western territory the US had after the Louisiana Purchase.

It’s the first Missouri capital from 1821 to 1826, and it was the site of the Saint Rose Philippine Duchesne shrine. Currently, St Charles has five different elementary schools, two high schools, and with a growing population, more of these schools are being erected in the city. The top five employers within this area are the s, St. Charles County, the St. Joseph Health Center, Boeing, and the City of St. Charles School district, along with AT&T of Missouri. It also has a pharma media, which recently opened, and it created 320 “high tech” jobs by early 2017, and continues to grow.

St. Charles is near the eastern side of the Katy Trail, which is a 225-mile long state park that’s enjoyed by bikers and walkers that have the right of way. Since the 1970s, there has been new home construction, growth of commercialization, and an explosion of the populace in the area. It was coined the “golden triangle” which was placed in the 80s, and it refers to the rate of the development of the real estate that’s bordered by interstates 70, 64, and 94. It has a historic shopping district located on Main Street with restored restaurants and buildings, along with various specialty stores. It has the most standard terms of living features, minus the public golf course, found in a community of this size.

The city also has a wealth of special events, including events related to the Lewis and Clark expedition. It also has road cycling riders and fans and it served the place for the stage 5 final for the tour of Missouri in 22007. As of 2015, the walking food tours that go down main street can be taken through the company Dishing up America, which involves tours that take customers to local restaurants around the city.

It also has a new recreational park for dogs and people to walk around, in, and it even has an off-leash dog area. It is currently growing, and many people are moving to St. Charles as well for a good reason, and in turn, it’s creating more and more income for everyone, and is creating a bigger growth than ever before possible too. window installers st. charles MO
